Join members and partners of the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) for a regional Partnership Summit at BP Cooper River, a certified Wildlife at WorkSM program and a Corporate Lands for LearningSM (CLL) program with WHC with a celebrated past, winning both the Corporate Habitat of the Year award (1994) and CLL of the Year award (2001) and recognized as a Signature of Sustainability site in 2008. Beginning with a fieldtrip to explore the inspiring habitat restoration and management of BP Cooper River, we will explore the issues and concerns surrounding the cherished forest ecosystems of the region. We will also look at how our members and partners are working to protect and enhance these natural communities, and how they connect those conservation efforts to the human community. Afternoon discussions will begin a dialog to further deepen our efforts with more collaborative partnerships and innovative thinking.
