Annual CLL Workshop

Join the Wildlife Habitat Council for the 2007 Corporate Lands for Learning (CLL) Education and Outreach Workshop at the BP Decatur Plant in northern Alabama on the Tennessee River. Located on the 500 plus acres of this award winning wildlife habitat is the Wetlands Edge Environmental Learning Center. The facility is a cooperative effort with local school systems to enhance environmental learning in the Decatur area. More than two miles of trails traverse the surrounding habitat enabling visitors to view diverse ecosystems.
  • Become trained in the Council for Environmental Education's Project WILD and Project WILD Aquatic;
  • Observe Decatur schools using the WEEC facilities first hand;
  • Participate in a workshop to design or expand CLL programs at your site, and receive guidance and assistance from WHC employees and WEEC staff; and
  • Meet with other sites participating in WHC's CLL program to share ideas and experiences.
WHC encourages anyone who is involved in a CLL program to attend the workshop. Learning opportunities will cater to CLL beginners through experts. You can even invite teachers who participate in your CLL program to join in this exciting program.
