Join the Wildlife Habitat Council for its 21st Annual Symposium, Evergreen: A Celebration of Conservation in a Changing World. This year’s conference will explore the challenges and triumphs of advancing sustainable practices in challenging economic times. Innovative sessions will explore a diverse array of topics and provide insight on cost-effective implementation, partnerships and funding opportunities. Learn about ecosystem service tools, invasive species management, educational and wellness initiatives, and more. Participate in hands-on workshops or explore the natural world on an outdoor field trip.

Keynote speaker Peter H. Raven, Ph.D.
Peter H. Raven, Ph.D., Director, Missouri Botanical Garden and one of the world's leading botanists and advocates of conservation and biodiversity will provide the keynote address. Dr. Raven is past President and Chairman of the Board of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the largest organization of professional scientists in the world. He is also Chairman of the National Geographic Society’s Committee for Research and Exploration, and Chair of the Division of Earth and Life Studies of the National Research Council, which includes biology, chemistry and geology.
