Statement on Passing of Sam Hamilton, Director, U.S. FWS
SILVER SPRING, MD— The Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) was grieved to learn of the passing of Sam Hamilton, Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS). Baltimore, MD-The Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) entered into a servicewide Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service (FS) and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) that establishes a framework of cooperation and coordination between the three parties. Through the MOU, WHC, FS and NRCS will work together to achieve mutual goals for the conservation of natural resources.
