The Wildlife Habitat Council works with private landowners, mostly corporations, to create voluntary wildlife habitat and conservation education programs on their properties. By designing tailored programs to specific companies and properties, we can help landowners improve their land to benefit ecosystems and biodiversity that complement their goals and priorities.

These programs bring the human element into conservation. They go beyond planting trees to incorporate community and employee investment. WHC programs focus on healthy ecosystems and healthy societies.

WHC’s efforts are centered on two core programs, Wildlife at Work and Corporate Lands for Learning. Additionally, WHC-managed programs provide tried and tested models for implementing these programs.
