NW Indiana – SE Chicago Office

The Northwest Indiana – Southeast Chicago Office promotes and implements wildlife habitat enhancements, land restoration and reuse opportunities for private industrial properties and public lands. Projects in this region demonstrate the use of ecological enhancements on contaminated, degraded and underutilized properties through hands-on pilot projects.

NW Indiana Mighty AcornsResource conservation and ecological enhancement of industrial lands is the priority of the Wildlife Habitat Council and its members in Northwest Indiana and Southeast Chicago.

This regional office is located in Hammond, Indiana, and works with companies, government agencies, conservation groups and the public to integrate ecological enhancements as part of remediation and restoration programs at industrial facilities and public properties.
