The Partners

The Three Rivers Habitat Partnership brings together groups as diverse as industry, non-profits, and individuals for the benefit of wildlife, such as the Eastern bluebird, a once seldom-seen visitor.

The Three Rivers Habitat Partnership (TRHP) was formed in 1997 to protect habitat in southwest Pennsylvania on private lands, especially corporate-owned. These corporate habitat projects also serve to encourage individual landowners to manage for wildlife. TRHP offers backyard conservation workshops for the public, helps schools and others manage for wildlife, and promotes habitat conservation through outreach.

There are currently 22 corporate sites that are managing their land for wildlife on over 2,000 acres with the guidance of the Wildlife Habitat Council and local partner organizations in southwest Pennsylvania. Habitat Projects are a win-win situation for all, demonstrating sustainablity and environmental stewardship.
