As Conservation Specialist, Doreen provides site-level technical advice and support to new corporate conservation programs, as well as assisting with the improvement and maintenance of certified programs. Doreen has previously worked as Conservation Coordinator and Certification Coordinator at WHC.
In 2008, Doreen earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA and in 2014 she earned an M.S. in Earth Sciences from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. While in graduate school Doreen worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences. The focus of Doreen’s research was on Urban and Landscape Ecology as well as Biogeography.
