When will WHC-Certified programs be recognized?
Programs submitted for Certification in late 2019 (July 16 to December 31, 2019) will be recognized at WHC Connect. These programs are also eligible for the 2020 WHC Awards, which will be presented online at WHC Connect.
Programs submitted in 2020 (January 1, 2020 to December 15, 2020) will be celebrated in-person at Conservation Conference 2021. These programs are eligible for the 2021 WHC Awards.
Programs submitted in the first half of 2020 (January 1, 2020 to July 15, 2020) will be eligible for the Ibis Award – this new award will recognize a program that has demonstrated resiliency of spirit and advancement of conservation despite shutdowns, quarantines and changes in the workplace.
