Join Thelma Redick, Director of Conservation Education, and Josiane Bonneau, Wildlife Habitat Council’s Director of Field Programs, for an online course focusing on strategies that link projects and programs at your site to conservation or research efforts at a local, regional, national or even international level. The course discusses how you can physically connect to nearby programs to manage some aspect of your habitat, or the connectivity that can come through community engagement within a region, through education and outreach. Members might also consider linking sites with a common theme or management plan within a watershed, along a migratory flyway or at some regional scale. Our staff offers technical expertise to identify various “connectivity” opportunities so your conservation efforts can reach “beyond your fence line” and make a greater impact for wildlife and for the human community.
