Team capacity-building. From in-person workshops to online webinars, WHC offers education and skills training in planning, design, implementation, maintenance and monitoring across a wide range of relevant conservation topics.
Program establishment. WHC conducts site visits to a facility or group of facilities to identify a suite of suitable conservation projects that meet site goals, are compatible with operations, and contribute to local priorities. The visits are also suited to providing technical conservation guidance for adaptive management and improvement of conservation practices by the volunteers conducting implementation, maintenance and monitoring.
Program support. WHC supports existing programs by helping to solve challenges and identify opportunities, with the goal of strengthening the program in its current context, which may include changes in workforce, available property, etc.
WHC Conservation Certification assistance. WHC Strategy and Planning team offers one-on-one support though the Conservation Certification application process. Often needed in the case of first time applicants, or when resources at the facility level compromise the completion of the application in a desired time frame.
