About the Program
Sawmill Creek Trout Pond, a part of ExxonMobil, is located along a tributary of the Pecatonica River in Wyoming. While the Cutthroat Trout has seen numerous challenges to important spawning and wintering habitat throughout its range, team members are committed to providing suitable habitat on their facility. To support this species, team members have supported efforts aimed at habitat management, monitoring and community engagement.

Practices and Impacts
  • Team members manage vegetation within and around the pond to ensure an appropriate native composition and acceptable plant density.
  • The team monitors for cutthroat trout as well as habitat characteristics and other wildlife.
