About the Program
Bayer’s Stanton facility is located 35 miles south of Saint Paul, Minnesota. This project started in 2016 with a conservation objective to restore native grassland habitat for pollinators.

Practices and Impacts
  • The Bayer team successfully planted native grassland species on one acre of land previously used for crops.
  • The area is regularly monitored for plant growth.
  • The project team uses both spot treatment and manual management to management multiple invasive species.
  • Pollinators, such as monarchs and bees, are seen in the habitat.
