Every act of conservation matters.

On December 12-13 the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity will convene the Business and Biodiversity Forum during the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP 15), December 7-19, in Montreal.

As a member of the UN Global Compact, a partner of Business for Nature, and a long-time collaborator in the business and biodiversity space, WHC has convened a delegation to attend this watershed event where Parties, subnational and local authorities, civil society, academia, indigenous peoples and local communities and business and financial sectors will come together to support the adoption of the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF).

COP15 and the Business and Biodiversity Forum is a once in a lifetime opportunity for governments from around the world to plan for ambitious broad-based action to ensure a future of living in harmony with nature. WHC believes that business has a vital role to play in these talks and supports calls for a robust global biodiversity framework.
