Durham Terminal

About the Program

Durham Terminal, a part of the Argos Corporation., is located in Durham, North Carolina. Unfortunately, this site is located in an area that has experienced dramatic urbanization during recent decades resulting in marked declines in available habitat for wildlife species across all taxa. To help address this issue the team has created a 900 sq ft pollinator garden and manages their property to benefit native species.

Practices and Impacts

• Team members monitor and maintain a 900 sq foot pollinator garden
• Team members monitor and maintain several bat boxes to support native bat species
• Team members have installed multiple nesting boxes for Bluebirds
